Intumescent cataracta neurodermatica, i.e. a cataract associated with atopic dermatitis

The initial Atlas photo of this patient was taken 3 months before this photo. The cataract in the OS went from the incipient stage to this well-developed intumescent stage within 3 months. All patients with atopic dermatitis must be watched carefully for significant cataract changes.

This photo was taken 3 mos prior to the 1st photo. The incipient cataract OS progressed to the intumescent stage during the 3 mos.
