Congenital Nuclear Cataract

Thomas A. Oetting, MS, MD

This is an interesting congenital nuclear cataract in a young girl. She had increasing glare and so we decided to remove the cataract. It was interesting as the cataract had a uniform consistency and almost looked like an intraocular lens was already present. Trypan blue was used to better see and to make the capsule less elastic.
