Traumatic Mydriasis, Cataract, Zonular Dialysis

This patient had blunt trauma with zonular dialysis, traumatic mydriasis, and a mild lens opacity that was progressing. We used iris hooks to hold the capsule during the cortex extraction and then placed a Capsular Tension Ring (CTR). The bag centered nicely. The intraocular lens was placed with the haptics also in line with the weak zonules, which might help to keep it centered.
