A 65-year-old woman presented for routine eye evaluation. On clinical examination, there were round stromal scars in the peripheral cornea consistent with her history of prior conductive keratoplasty (CK). CK is a procedure that applies heat to the peripheral corneal stroma causing shrinkage and resultant central steepening. It can be used to treat low hyperopia and presbyopia. The peripheral round scars are well seen on retroillumination. "
