A 13-year-old teenager presented for evaluation of a limbal lesion in the left eye. On exam there was an elevated, non-tender, whitish lesion at the inferotemporal limbus consistent with a clinical diagnosis of a limbal dermoid. Limbal dermoids represent a congenital, benign choristoma, which represent histopathologically normal tissue in an abnormal location. While limbal dermoids can be associated with systemic conditions, such as Goldenhar Syndrome, this patient presented as an isolated finding.
