70-year-old female who presented 3 years after cataract surgery with anterior and intermediate inflammation and decreased vision. Anterior slit lamp exam showed diffuse, mild conjunctival injection. She had dense fibrinous and cellular debris in the anterior chamber, which deposited on the corneal endothelium centrally and inferiorly. There was also neovascularization of the nasal iris. A vitreous tap was performed, in addition to injection of intravitreal vancomycin and amphotericin. The diagnosis of fungal endophthalmitis was made when curvularia species grew from her vitreous biopsy.
