A7: Posterior polar (central discoid opacity) and posterior subcapsular (surrounding plaque).

Q8: What surgical complication is more common in this type of cataract?

A8: Posterior capsular rupture

Q9: What can be done to avoid this complication?

A9:
Hydrodelineate, do not hydrodissect.
Minimize lens rotation and stress on zonules (V-groove, etc.).
Consider viscodissection or wait for YAG capsulotomy.
