Q29: How would you describe this lens?

A29: Subluxated.

A luxated, or dislocated, lens is completely displaced from the pupil, implying complete zonular dehiscence.

Ectopia lentis encompasses both of these terms, and may be congenital, developmental, or acquired.

Q30: What is the differential diagnosis?

A30: Trauma, Marfan's syndrome, homocystinuria, aniridia, congenital glaucoma, Ehler's-Danlos, hyperlysinemia, sulfite oxidase deficiency, ectopia lentis et pupillae, and isolated ectopia lentis.
