  • To perform all key steps for a trabeculectomy

EQUIPMENT

  • Phillips Studio Basic TrabEye PS-022 eye model
  • An eye model mount and tape to secure
  • 7-0 vicryl suture (similar sized alternatives can be used in wet lab settings)
  • 8-0 vicryl suture (similar sized alternatives can be used in wet lab settings)
  • 10-0 nylon suture (similar sized alternatives can be used in wet lab settings)
  • 75-13 scalpel
  • Gill knife
  • Kelly punch
  • Needle drivers
  • Scissors (Ideally Westcotts and Vannas)
  • Marker
  • Forceps (ideally straight smooth, Pierse-Hoskins, and Colibri)
  • Tying forceps
